About Margaret Law..

Chestnut Lodge Dog Training & Animal Behaviour Solutions is run by:-

Margaret Law – Animal Behaviour Consultant and Dog Trainer
Ii is a small friendly club and is based in Holbeach Fen.
Classes are held at Holbeach Hurn Village Hall, Marsh Road, PE12 8JT (back of the Church). For more information on Dog Training Click Here

Margaret's Qualifications:
Certificate Applied Animal Behaviour (Degree Level) Southampton University

British Institute of Professional Dogs Trainers Instructor Certificate

R.S.A. Teacher’s Certificate

Adult and Further Education Certificate in Teaching

Completed Animal Aiders First Aid Course for Dogs

Margaret is currently working with Canine Behaviour Problems and training basic obedience and puppy socialisation. Also fun gun dog training for spaniels and retrievers.

Margaret's Experience:

Taught Canine Studies to City & Guilds at Shuttleworth Agricultural College

Taught Obedience Training at Life Long Learning Centre in Spalding

Run her own classes for puppy socialisation and Obedience for the past ten years.

Run classes for Gun Dog Training and given demonstrations at County Shows and large Canine Event Days such as “All About Dogs” with her Golden Retrievers.

Currently enjoying:

Assessor for P.A.T. (Pets as Therapy) Dogs Charity

Judging Competitive Obedience at Open and Championship Shows Kennel Club Licensed Events

Competing and training for Obedience with Working Sheepdogs, Lassie (working C) Maia (working B) and Golden Retriever Fern (yet to enter her first Novice). Fern is also training for Gun Dog work. .Jess - Border Collie - being trained for Sheepdog Trials

and all dogs training for Agility. Unfortunately with such a variety of disciplines it is hard to find the time to compete in them all but we enjoy everything we do.
